About

market: destination branding

size: 19,000 Seat Arena

scope: branding, wayfinding, sculptural elements

project description

As part of RipBang Studios, Bob Bangham and Rowena Macaraeg were commissioned to design the Brand Experience at Orlando’s Amway Center. The project scope combines branding graphics with architecture, and sculptural elements to create visual cues and destination landmarks that orient guests within an inherently confusing circular building.

Bold, consistent signage divides the arena into color-coded hemispheres while RipBang-designed destination “anchors” – bars, exhibits, play areas and fan zones – differentiate areas of the arena. The result is a venue that is easy to navigate and attracts sponsorships, while serving as a source of civic pride.
