Wahoo came to our team looking for a partner to help create their new Sports Science Center, located in Boulder, Colorado. They wanted a space that would help them tell their brand story, as well as the history of sports science itself. Given their limited square footage, we knew that this space needed to pack a punch and function as an experience center, where guests and visitors could immediately enter into a 360º Wahoo brand experience. We designed Wahoo’s Sports Science Center to be complete with tech integrations to try out their merchandise, history walls celebrating partnerships with record setting athletes, and a larger-than-life trail map of Boulder– complete with data on popular local trails– to kickstart your adventure with Wahoo Fitness.
Our goal was to create a hands-on experience for sponsored athletes and other guests of Wahoo that demonstrated brand values with a splash of local flair, and told the Wahoo story in space; sports science plus technology equals proven results. We succeeded in doing this by developing a strategy that utilized every inch of space to serve a specific purpose under one holistic brand attitude.
Our client loved the result, saying “We’re able to showcase how sports science is a part of what we do at Wahoo.
